A distinctive young voice in modern classical piano
Connor Roham, an emerging pianist from San Francisco, California, has been a prizewinner in national and international piano competitions since the age of seven. Connor has performed in major concert halls across the United States and Europe, including Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium, Weill Recital Hall, among others.
As a soloist, Connor has appeared with orchestras such as the Nashville Symphony, the London City Philharmonic, the Sonoma County Philharmonic, the American West Symphony, and the Livermore Symphony.
Recent highlights include performances at the Italian Nights Gala during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland; the Klagenfurt Konzerthaus in Austria; the Chopin Festival XXXIX presented by the Internationale Chopin Gesellschaft in Wien at Kartause Gaming, Austria; and the San Francisco Noontime Concert Series.
Connor first gained public attention appearing on ABC7 San Francisco, ABC7 New York, and KTVU FOX 2 Morning News at the age of ten. He is a recent graduate of the Pre-College Program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and is currently studying at the Paderewski Academy.
2016
Made his Carnegie Hall debut in New York City at age ten, later returning for additional performances at Stern Auditorium and Weill Recital Hall.
2019
Achieved continued success in national and international piano competitions, performing across the United States and expanding his recital and concerto repertoire.
2022
Recognized as an Academic Young Scholar by the Davidson Institute for Profoundly Gifted Youth and admitted as a certified member of American Mensa
2024
Winner of the Nashville Symphony Curb Concerto Competition, performing Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor at Schermerhorn Symphony Center with the orchestra and Curb Youth Symphony.

SFCM Brian Lloyd Piano Competition – Winner
Named winner of the Brian Lloyd Piano Competition at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, appearing as guest soloist for SFCM performances.

International and National Piano Competition Prizes
Earned multiple top prizes in international and national piano competitions, further establishing his reputation as a rising young artist.
2022
Davidson Institute – Academic Young Scholar
Selected as an Academic Young Scholar by the Davidson Institute for Profoundly Gifted Youth for outstanding academic and creative achievement.
